This is an amazing product! By far the kindest to my skin that I’ve used up to yet. So little of the product is needed as it goes such a long way, and it gives such a young healthy glow to my skin with what feels like no effort at all.

This product is awful!! Had high hopes but it is thick and Cakey and really doesn’t sit well on skin. It ends up in creases… I have tried lots of products over the years and I can normally get around something not being perfect by mixing with another product…. Not this one!!! Waste of money!! Don’t buy!

Wish I read reviews before buying this. Terrible coverage, leaves a weird cakey effect. Not the cheapest. Waste of money.

There is no difference before and after applying this product. No coverage at all, waste of money.

Tried this several times since I bought it. Bought 01 Light which is fine but wOULD also try next one down too. This covers well and really does seem to blur lines. HOWEVER, there are two really big issues for me. Firstly, it is very drying, so although it is, presumably, aimed at older ladies, it is not hydrating enough for older skins. Secondly, no matter which primer I use (I’ve tried 4 good quality primers plus no primer) this just sinks into my pores and looks awful. I’ve tried using a hyaluronic acid just before but it still looks dry, flaky and my pores are full of makeup. Such a shame, it’s a good idea and should work but, sadly, it doesn’t work for it’s target audience.

No matter how many times I’ve tried this product I just can’t get it to work for me, I’ve used my fingers, sponge and a brush and none of these make this this look good on my skin. Had high hopes for this one but not for me unfortunately.

I was one of the disappointed people who was devastated to learn that the dream matte mouse was being discontinued. I reluctantly purchased this new product expecting to hate it and initially when I tried it, I was disappointed. It doesn't have the same coverage and it doesn't hide spots or blemishes. However, it is incredibly natural, mattifies and blurs. I have found that when coupled with the dream lumi concealer it is actually far superior to the old dream, matte mousse as it sits on my skin really well. I tend to think of this as a tinted serum which I use as a base, and then use the dream lumi concealer to hid the dark circles and blemishes. I'm a convert. Thanks Maybelline.

Used the maybelline matte mousse for years, so decided to use this replacement and it was terrible! it doesn't not provide any coverage, not able to blend with fingers because it looks patchy, when I used brush there was no difference to my skin as if I did not put any foundation on. Please bring back the original, it did what it was meant to... so disappointed that it was replaced with this overpriced alternative that does not even do half the jobs that it did.

Been using this for a few days now and every time it squirts out the tube and little lumps fall off my fingers or hand. I’ve even tried a couple different techniques to get it out and apply but still with the same result. Once I’ve finally applied to my face, it’s just ok. It feels dry and doesn’t cover evenly so not great for ageing skin I’m afraid. The colour I chose was perfect but that’s the only positive.

I bought this a couple of months ago and it took a while to get used to it and work out how best it goes on. It’s a great light coverage that for the over 50s is great as it doesn’t accentuate the lines/crows feet. It is only light coverage though. The downside is it spits out the tube, drops off your fingers easily and can be quite messy. I use it as a day wear as it gives a nice colour with a natural look.

I have worn Dream Matt Mousse for years and loved it. This spits out of the tube and does not go on smoothly, it lumps on the skin. Will now be changing to another brand, rubbish.

Perfect in a hurry or when travelling. Doesn’t feel greasy or drying. I should have gone for light, not light/medium.

It did exactly what I hoped it would, slightly coloured and fab base for foundation, evens out pores and blemishes.

This product is very hydrating and soft on the skin. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and provides light but good coverage with a dewy, clear finish. The formula has a lovely texture which makes it easy to apply and is great under makeup for more coverage

This is a fantastic product it goes on really smoothly and you only need a small amount to cover the whole of your face. I have noticed that it blends in with my skin tone! I will buy this again!!!!!!

I tried this foundation and found it to be absolutely superb as it glided onto my skin giving fantastic coverage. It covered every blemish. Thank you Maybelline for supplying another really great product.

I was really excited to try this product when I saw it as I don't usually use foundation except for special occasions as I don't like the feel of it on my skin but as I'm getting older and starting to get more age spots and hyperpigmentation I thought it would be ideal to even out my skin tone a little. When I do buy foundation I usually find medium shade is the best but although I went a bit lighter with this product and chose light/medium it came way too dark for me so if you buy I would recommend going a shade lighter than your usual. I found it very dry to apply and sadly you can still clearly see all my dark spots through it - although it does it provides light coverage it does claim to conceal blemishes and even skin tone which unfortunately I did not find to be the case for me. Sadly this isn't the product that I was hoping for.

I thought the cream was a very nice texture and sank into my skin but I .found the colour too light for my complexion.I would like to try a darker shade. maybe my skin is not as fair as it used to be.

The texture of the fluid did not set well on my skin- could have been moisturiser & timing in between applications however I have quite dry skin & the product is also quite dry. The product promises to provide full coverage however it doesn’t work for my skin type.

Unfortunately for me the wrong shade arrived, The shade on the plastic bag was correct, but the shade on the actual box was not ! Lucky i checked before i opened it. Had to send back

I'm not one to wear BB creams because I need a little more coverage. However since covid and having to wear face masks all day long resulting in maskne and super sore and sensitive skin, I 've been on the lookout for a new BB cream. I've tried many but this one is the best by far. It's gives me a nice coverage, blends well against my skin tone and best of all, I do not get any breakouts. I also do not get transfer of product on my mask. I love the texture of the product and although it looks a little dark coming out of the tube, once applied it matches my skin tone perfectly. This is my new fav and a staple in my bag!

This is the first Maybelline product that I’m not a fan of, unfortunately. Perhaps it’s not suitable for my skin type. It applies quite dry and I struggle to blend it evenly. Tried with my normal skincare routine and on its own and still had the same issue. It highlights my pores and looks cakey instead of natural.

If you're super pale like me then this is the shade for you! It gives good coverage as well, and goes on like a balm before drying slightly. But more coverage than a BB cream so excellent if that's what you're looking for!

This is amazing! One product that does it all ! Conceals , brightens and makes my skin look and feel amazing . This glides on easily and blends in so well. I love the light coverage as it doesnt feel as though my skin is caked in make up and is long lasting . I wore and didnt feel as though i had anything

I’ve been using the Perfector 4-in-1 every day for about 3 weeks now. I think it is great, quick and easy! It is not wet so it doesn't require drying, it feels like a mousse and it sets well on the skin leaving my pores blurred. It is not full coverage, looks natural, it didn't move when I applied other products over it, or with rain. I have mine slightly darker than my natural skin, so I look like a have a beautiful natural tan.

Too matte, reminds me of dream matte mousse. Felt like it just sat on the top of my skin and didn't absorb and was chalkey. Disappointing as I usually love all Maybelline products. This might work on other skin types but not mine.

I was lucky enough to be sent this Perfector to try, however this in no way influences my opinion. I have very fair, dry, hormonal skin which is not in too bad condition. I therefore prefer a lightweight base that just helps to improve (not cover) my skin. This product is good but not great - it loses a star for mattifying my skin and I found I needed to make sure that my skin was very well moisturised. Fair light was a very good match for my skin tone and shade - the Perfector definitely has a neutral/pink undertone and I'm not sure if it would be a good 'fit' for those who have a yellow undertone (in this shade). It blended in nice and easily and feels silky-soft when applying to my face with fingers. The texture is very lightweight and feels weightless on the skin. I would prefer it to have a more natural/dewy finish (I don't like matte), so one can decide whether to powder to mattify. (I didn't try adding any brightening products to see if they would have made a difference). To conclude, I think this is a good, lightweight product that blurs and mattifies the skin quickly and easily enhancing your complexion. It will provide light concealment and can be used topically to build up coverage, just don't expect full coverage. I would use caution if you don't like a matte finish or have dry skin.

I normally use a full coverage foundation but have been using just this and setting powder. It’s a really nice texture on the skin. It advises you to apply with your fingers but I prefer to use a brush. It does squirt out a little unpredictably which is my main criticism. The whipped texture is good but it does mean it’s a bit unwieldy. It’s great for those days when you just want some coverage but not a full face. I don’t always need to use a concealer when I use this so it’s saving make up. Colour match is great.
