Insane duration, SUBSTANTIAL bang for your buck!

This lipstick, in the seductress shade, has changed my life completely. Sit comfortably i have a story to tell you.
A poor girl having to go without to afford this lipstick, even though its high street affordable, she never forked out for any lipstick other than the pound land range. Admiring the calm tone of nude but surprisingly sexual appearance of her lips, she still wasn't holding out much hope for the new lipstick lasting the whole evening. Cut to the chase as eight electric hours flew by she opened her compact mirror and had an incredibly pleasurable shock, she inhaled sharply as the reflection shown her lips just as perfectly made up as the first, beautifully illustrated like a perfect summer's sunrise glistening on the surface of a crystal clear ocean. The new addition to her make up range had survived around 80 degrees of copper and galvanised threaded ron pipework which even burnt her fingers...

I've waited a couple of weeks to leave this review so it's as honest as possible and I had given it a fair go. Years ago Maybelline did a wooden chunky matte lip crayon that was pretty much this colour, it was my absolute favourite as a teenager but of course they discontinued it. I recently had an impulsive shopping spree and bought a bunch of dark red matte lips in various brands. This looked so promising, and in the right light it looks just like the colour I want, but the formula is AWFUL. I've been testing it out at home before I trust it on a night out, so just doing housework, having a coffee, etc. You have to keep your lips apart for it to dry - do not blot your lips together. Immediately after drying, it feels really grim. Lips feel tight and a bit sticky. It feels like I've blotted my lips with toilet paper but some of it stuck to my lips - I can literally feel BITS. Within MINUTES of applying, it has gone very patchy in the corners and middle of my mouth. It like tinted plastic rather than lipstick and when dry it just bobbles and disintegrates. Because it's a strong colour when it starts to fall apart it's extremely obvious. I even watched the video on the Maybelline website to see if I was applying it wrong, or if you have to prep your lips a certain way (other than clean and not chapped), but no, you're just supposed to apply one coat and go. Today I took a couple of photos by the window - this is what it looked like after 40 minutes, and I've had nothing to eat or drink - and it's not as dark as it should be, probably because it's worn off so much. Truly disappointing and total waste of £10. I have no idea why it's got so many good reviews because this is probably the second worst/joint worst out of the several I bought.

This is absolutely amazing!!
Once applied it does take around 20/30 minutes to properly dry and set however after that it literally does not budge! I wear the red couloir and it will stay on all day long!
You can feel it and it is a little thick but after 30 mins you completely forget about it. The only bad thing I can say is how hard it is to remove (not even a bad thing by what so ever!)
I couldn’t recommend this any more I absolutely love it

I've tried so many different lipsticks that are supposed to be long lasting, but these ones are the best. Unless eating something oily, they can stay put literally all day. Not kiss proof though!! I've had so many compliments on this colour too but have about 5 different colours in this range.

My go to colour is Yoyager (50). It suits my dark skin tone. I apply in the morning and it's still there at the end of the day. Little tip...to remove I use a little baby oil on a cotton wool pad. No scrubbing required, it just wipes off! Love it!

I have this in the shade "Inspirer" and I love it! It's so cute and it's pretty easy to apply. It does stay really long although personally for me, it isn't totally transfer-proof.

The only lipstick I will ever buy

I brought one of the superstay ink lipsticks for my wedding 4 years ago and it last all day without a single touch up (I drank and ate and I smoke). I wore the same lipstick to a dentist appointment in which I had 2 fillings and the appointment lasted for an hour. My lipstick looked as good as it did when I first applied it and hadden budged at all. This product is 1000% worth every penny

Really lovely colour! Wear time on this type of lipstick is always fantastic (i buy alot of these in different colours). Almost a slightly shiny glossy look but is a matt feel with the same really long wear as all of these types of lipstick from this brand. Very much recommend!

The colours are vibrant and stay so throughout the day. This is one of the only lip products I’ve tried that stays all day without reapplication. It feels light on your lips, isn’t sticky and is just amazing. I have multiple colours and they all look great. The applicator also makes it really easy to apply.

I bought this recently and it is absolutely gorgeous. Literally the best long wear lipstick I’ve ever had. Applied it at 11.00 this morning and have eaten lunch and dinner since then and it is still intact and looks fabulous. I’ve added a little gloss a couple of times and it still looks immaculate. And it’s not as drying as other lipsticks like this. Just popped into Superdrug and bought another one!!

I’ve got 3 of them, the red one is amazing but the nude ones are very dark. I’m quite pale so I have to opt for an even brighter colour I think. Overall, the formula is the best, stays all day even after eating

Ive been after a good nude/pink lipstick to stay in, especially under my mask! This doesn't budge for 8+hours.absolutely amazing coverage and lovely colour. Would 100% recommend buying!
My only downside is that it stays on for 8+ hours.! So at the end of the day when it comes to taking it off it is a bit of a scrub! But worth it!
