Good foundation

Goes on great and buildable coverage from a tint to medium/full. Would say more matte than luminous and did oxidise slightly. Decent enough wearable coverage but did start to become oily on my face (I’ve dry skin).

Disappointed.

I've been wearing this brand for years. Brought a new one yesterday and only has the packaging changed. The product has. It feels greasy on my face and has gone all patchy. The colour is horrendous. Wish they had left it alone. Won't be buying this again. Such a shame I loved the original one.

This is a nice liquid foundation. Slightly more runny in texture than i expected but applies nice. Coverage is about medium and feels nice on the skin. Gives that finish between dewy and matte. Would continue to use this.

Maybelline discontinued my 220 with SPF, so I thought I would try this one. It is a completely different color and texture, and I am struggling with breakouts every time I use this. I have no idea which skin type this suits. I really had the perfect match in the old one, and now I can't buy it anywhere.

Awful chemical burns!

Used the original active wear foundation for many years, they removed it from the stores so i bulk bought the remaining of the older one but unfortunately i have ran out, so i had to start using this but my whole face got burnt with awful chemical burns from this product! Very disappointed, it’s been 6 days and my face has only just began clearing up.

Definitely not Luminous!

Bought this for the fact it stated Luminous! I dis my usual skin prep and have glass look base, applied this lightly over the top, at first it looked glassy, within 5 minutes it all changed! From looking glassy and hydrating my skin to dull, dry caked. Girls don’t waste you’re money

I recently purchased the Super Stay Lumi Matte Foundation (shade 115) in a 3-bottle pack from an online store. I noticed that the bottles do not have embossed or raised lettering on the cap or bottle, which made me wonder about the packaging standards.
Could you please confirm whether the 3-bottle packs are officially produced without embossed details? I’d like to ensure the product I received is authentic. The outer box says “Made in France” and includes production and expiry dates, but the bottles themselves are quite plain.

Great foundation if you have big pores BUT

Great foundation! Matte but not flat, smooth on pores and fine lines, and long-lasting.
Shades are the problem. The jumps are huge and undertones make no sense. 115 is nothing like 108 despite being the "same undertone", and 128 is closer to it in depth than 115 or 119. I couldn’t find 118 to test, but there’s no way to pick the right shade online from descriptions alone.

Better than high end foundation

I absolutely love this foundation! It performs better than some of my high end foundations. Gives a matte but very natural skin like finish which lasts all day long. I will definitely repurchase in a different as this one is a tad too dark. Would highly recommend to everyone looking for a affordable and long wearing foundation :)

Great Lasting Foundation

Great Lasting Foundation - gave it the ultimate test by wearing it on a mountain bike ride. Even through a tough day, this foundation lasted! No streakiness at all. Face looked great and flawless (with a bit of added mud)

Hugely inferior replacement to Active Wear 30 hour

Really disappointed with this foundation, the replacement to the 30hr active wear foundation. The foundation does not last long at all, going really patchy, poor coverage. Have been a loyal Maybelline customer for years. Absolute waste of money. Also the colours have all changed so difficult to find a colour match.

Unsure of this one

Product looks a great consistency, pleasant smell and applies well. Found it is quite transferrable and after only 2 hours wear it was looking a little patchy in places and did not cover pores well. What I did really like about it was the mattifying affect and my natural greasy skin did not shine through

This foundation was all over social media with people raving about how good it is so I had high expectations! Doesn’t live up to the hype I’m afraid, goes on the skin well at first but after about 1hr looks dry and flaky and cheap! Won’t be buying again 😔

Rubbish replacement for Active Wear

Persevered with it as can no longer get Active wear. It goes on nice and smooth and is very runny! Great if u want to even completion. Doesn’t build well. Doesn’t cover blemishes- I had to use another foundation with it.

Really great foundation. Good consistency and I found it went on well which is not always that easy if you're me! Looked really natural and hid my slightly pink cheeks extremely well as the coverage was good without being plastered on. This will be in my bag going forward.

Another great product from maybelline. I always use the eraser so I was not surprised that the limo matte superstay did wonders for me. It was long lasting and easy to apply. The consistency was also great. The only Con was that I didn't match perfectly to the shade, so will have to test out another colour.

Liked this product as it didn’t have a smell and the texture felt nice / not too heavy. Only marked it down as it wasn’t quite the right shade for me, a bit too orange so hard to wear and properly test.

This product was also too dark for my skin colour I tried it on and it made me look with a darker skin than I usually am, it wasn't illuminating. The consistency is nice and it looks smooth and light but not suitable for me because of teh colour.

I've worn 30hr Active Wear for years but can't get it anywhere now so bought this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! It is so thin and does NOT LAST even 3 hours without going patchy. The colour choices are great but that is all the 1 star is for. The product does not do the intended job!!!

Pleasantly surprised

I haven't tried many Maybelline foundations but was pleasantly surprised by this one. It had a medium to full coverage. I like the lumi matte coverage - glowy makeup just isn't for me. It layered well with other makeup and lasted well.

I've been using 30hr foundation for years, and is has good coverage. The shops don't have that in store anymore, so I had to resort to this one. It doesn't cover any blemish's at all and is so thin. Do not buy!

Why, why, why do people have to change formulas? I have used this foundation for years and years and I’m afraid I will now be looking for a new brand. Absolutely gutted!!! It’s like water and so greasy. No where near the same coverage. What a shame. Now on the look out for a new foundation.

I’ve been using this foundation for years and when I saw that the packaging had changed I was really worried about the formula changing aswell, and it has massively changed, the consistency is so thin now like water, and once applied it’s so patchy. I spent so long trying to find a foundation that worked for me, and now unfortunately I’ll have to do that again. Really really disappointed:(

I love foundations that are light weight and buildable . This is fantastic and the colour matches so well with my skin tone . The texture means its easy to use and its easy to blend too . I love how long it lasts and that it doesnt smudge either !

This new foundation is horrible coverage is gone consistency is mid! OVERALL MID!!! Pls bring 30hr back into stores I used 30hr original foundation for 3 plus years and this is just disappointing my makeup barely lasts now! Trust me my base is amazing aswell but its just not giving like it used to! people only like it cus its on trend when its so bad

This foundation has a great amount of coverage and makes my skin look flawless. The shade range is excellent which makes it easier to find your perfect match. The lasting power of the foundation is great and I find I do not need to touch up throughout the day.

This foundation is very easy to apply and provides good light coverage throughout the day. I found that the foundation does not crease and it stays put giving you a luminous lasting matte finish. I would recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation; i thought it might oxide and make my face go greasy... but no the colour was perfect & it last all day!! This is going to be my new everyday foundation...one pump is enough to cover my whole face..i can't recommend it enough!

Very good product, unfortunately colour match was off. Not my everyday foundation but good when my more expensive stuff runs out :) would recommend if you are wanting to try something new + a very good price
