Impossible to open

Impossible to open. I just purchased this instant age perfecter makeup. Are you having a joke. I have just wasted an hour trying to open this torture bottle. Do you use super glue? Why do you seal this like there is diamond inside it. I am taking it back tomorrow, really disappointed because I wanted to try it. If you are disabled no way would you be able to use it but you would bei. Good company because able bodied can’t open it either.

Love it!

I have been using this happily for over a year. It light and easy to apply and looks good on my 71 year old skin! You lose a little in the beginning as not all four components come through together initially but it is inexpensive and makes my skin feel really good. I use a little concealer on a few age spots then apply in product. Perfect finish every time.

A waste of money

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have binned it. Firstly, reallt hard to open all the security packaging and then I was twisting and twisting trying to get the product to the sponge. This white liquid came out so I shook it and tried again. Eventually the product soaked into the sponge but there is absolutely no coverage on my face. My cheap Bb cream is more effective. Cant even tell the product is on my skin, just ferel an unpleasant dampness. Really regret buying it when there are so many other products

This doesn’t claim to be a foundation so I think reviews stating there isn’t enough coverage aren’t quite fair as expectations were not realistic.
I love this. The colour is a superb match (I’m a neutral tone and purchased 01). It is so fuss free to apply with the sponge and then dab out with a foundation brush. You can build it up and it doesn’t look or feel caked (a feeling I do not enjoy) but I feel like I’ve made an effort whilst remaining looking like
myself. It contains some nice skin friendly ingredients and no fragrance or drying alcohol. Longevity for me is good too. I am reaching for this over more expensive face make ups I have in my kit and have already purchased a back up. Really exceptional. Just a shame it’s not 30ml but no biggy. If I want to matte it I use a sweep of the fit me powder. Really good products.

Even after shaking and priming the tube it still comes out like diluted milk.
It doesn't feel very nice on my face and makes it feel prickly after application.
Don't waste your money on this product.

Everything about this product is TERRIBLE

From the start to finish is just a nightmare. First to open it it’s a struggle. The plastic is so tight, it broke my cuticle scissors. Then to get the product to come out is nearly impossible. And I wish I’ve never tried it. It gave me such a terrible burn that I had to see my dermatologist and get a RX cream to help with the burn and irritation I got from it. It should come with a warning. I love my Maybelline foundation, tint, concealer, but this 1 is a NO.

01 light is not only my go to. The color is spot on. I also get the most compliments when I wear this foundation. Price point is good too. The natural finish and feel is awesome. I would highly recommend this product! Oh btw did I mention that I've also been a makeup artist for almost 30 yrs.

I bought this today and have came to the reviews to see if I’m doing something wrong. It’s awful! So thin and oily. My face felt greasy/tacky, and it wiped off so easily on to everything. Took ages for any coloured product to appear out the applicator, it was a thin milky coloured watery substance only for ages. After applying it once there was hardly any product left in the bottle. Definitely been a waste of money. Only positive thing I’d say is I wasn’t mad at the applicator. I’ll stick to the skin tint, I LOVE that and recommend it to everyone!

This product says it's a 4-in-one. I recommend only using it as a skin tint and nothing else.
It does not cover up blemishes and dark spots very well because of how thin it is. I kid you not, this product is the texture of olive oil. It also comes off very easily. If you put it all over you face, most of it will come off when blending, and then if you press your hand to your face, you would be left barefaced. You could wipe it off completely with just your hand.
This also makes it really difficult to layer anything on top of it (cream blush, cream bronzer, ect), because instead of blending together, it smudges right off.
The product is also SUPER ORANGE. I have neutral tones and got the corresponding shade, but it looked sooo orange on me. The only reason it looked okay once blended out was because of how much of it had come off while blending!
Another thing is that it makes my skin burn a little. I'm not allergic to anything and I don't have sensitive skin. If I put it under (under, not in, mind you) my eyes, they also sting a little.
When I got it, I shook it a ton, but it still came out very separated. I also had to twist the top, no exaggeration, about A HUNDRED TIMES just to get the product to come out the top. When you twist the top, a disc with a tube going to the top gets lowered, making the product go up the tube and out of the applicator. The disc on mine has gotten about halfway down, meaning that my bottle is HALF EMPTY after just a few uses. I think this is because the product is so thin, that the disc needs to condense it a lot to make it come out of the top. So basically, I got half the product I paid for, or at least that's how it looks to me.
I recommend only using a thin layer, and using it only as a skin tint and nothing else. It does a decent job at that. My two pluses are that it's lightweight, which is fine if your skin is clear and you don't have much to cover up, and it's shiny.

The outstanding product after trying several BB creams and tinted moisturizers from similar manufacturers...I just turned 61 and could see I needed something to smooth and balance my skin. This did not settle, or dry my skin, matched my skintone, was easy to apply, inexpensive...I am really glad I gave this a try and will buy again when this one gets low.

I wanted to love this product. It was exactly what I was looking for…or so I thought. It makes my face sticky, never dries no matter what unless I load powder onto my face, settles into the lines around my eyes, and it burns when I apply it. Barring any real horrible skin reaction, I am going to use it because I’m a single mom on a very very limited income for makeup and things like that, but I feel I wasted money on a splurge for myself that I was looking forward to.

Can I give this a zero?? I HATE this foundation! It feels wet and sticky. I feel like I need to use powder over it? Am I supposed to? I loved the old formula. It went on like a dream. This sponge thingy is just a gimmick. Now I’m in search of a foundation like your old one.

Don’t bother

Hardly anything in the tube; practically impossible to open; when when you do manage it (mine came apart before this) the sponge applicator will disintegrate. Straight in the bin. Even the stuff inside was rubbish!
