EXPRESS BROW 2-IN-1 PENCIL AND POWDER

I thought this would be similar to the Maybelline satin brow, but unfortunately it’s not, it has a triangular shaped pencil. I found it impossible to use without making clown like brows. Not for me, waste of money

Why on earth do companies insist on changing products that do not need changing!?! I have used the Xpress Brow Satin Duo pencil for years and this new version is absolutely awful!! Like others have said, the teardrop shape is so difficult to use & leaves you with a faint line if you manage to use the thin end or a thick clumpy line if you use the thicker end. The consistency is horrible too and ends up clumpy and disappears throughout the day. It takes twice as long (if not longer) to do my brows now. I will not be buying this again. I am so disappointed Maybelline and hope you take note of all of these dissatisfied reviews. You have lost me as a loyal customer! Save yourself time and money and disappointment and don’t buy!

I used to use the Brow Satin eye brow pencil and loved it and I'm so disappointed that it has been taken off the market. I find this new express one is too thick and much darker and it goes on like a crayon. Don't like it at all and I'll have to go in search of an alternative product. Bring back the Brow Satin PLEASE!!!!!!!!

The wrapping is ridiculous couldn't get it off. Rubbish if you don't have anything sharp to scrape it off.

I have been using brow satin for years and years. The new design is impractical and very annoying to use compared to the original - I would have rated the original 5 stars. I don’t see the point of this new design, the thin side you want to use gets worn down then you’re left with the thick side making really thick heavy lines. Hopefully maybelline takes notice of all of these reviews and brings back the original. Good example of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!

Awful.. So thick and there's no shape to your eyebrows with this!! You might as well draw them on with a crayon and they would look better... Bring back the brow satin they've just discontinued!!! Miles better !!!

Great product if like me you want things done yesterday! So quick and easy to apply. The sponge end is great for filling in areas and the pencil end is brilliant for creating hair like strokes. Overall a really great product that I’d highly recommend!

I really like the mix of the powder and pencil in one product. I found the powder a great base, not too heavy and a nice colour. The pencil is ok, but i prefer a thinner or pointed end, rather than the shape here.
Overall pretty good and handy to carry in your bag.

I have tried to use the Express Brow 2-IN-1 Pencil & Filling Powder a few times but the powder end of the product does not want to work, even drawing on my hand does not produce any powder. The pencil end of the product works well, it has a great triangle shape which helps produce fine lines or thicker ones if you prefer

Quick & easy brow product!
This 2 in 1 pencil & powder makes it so much easier to fill in sparse areas of the brow. I find the pencil much easier to use than a powder and brush. Lasted all day and looked very natural.

The pencil is way too soft and not enough pigmented. The shape of it is too thick and it isn't easy to apply it. The filling powder has the sponge a bit too big. I would prefer it to be a bit smaller. The product doesn't last long and it is easy to remove it with a simple touch.

This has 2 ends, the angled pencil end is great for little eyebrow touch ups (filling in gaps!). The powder end is much easier to use than you'd think, and really adds depth and just generally makes your brows look nice and full.

Gave a really strong brow and filled in any areas with ease. The only shame is it not being available in blonde as this was a bit dark for me and I prefer something that tones in with my hair colour but overall it’s a great product if the right colour!

I got this and I was nervous because I'm usually awful at doing my brows. This product made it so easy and quick. You can go for a subtle effect or build up the colour. I'll definitely be recommending this to my friends.

I loved this pencil, the sponge is very good and soft. I was worried my black brows was going to look fake but sometimes I only use the sponge as it leaves me with a very natural-looking brows and takes me seconds.
It is very easy and quick to use and doesn’t leave any harsh lines, lasts all day long and doesn’t fade.

I tried the Express Brow 2 in 1 pencil in Brunette. I have very dark eyebrows and could have maybe gone a shade darker although this shade was fine for me to use despite initially thinking it may be too light.
First I used the brown triangle stick crayon side of the pencil to fill in the missing 'tails' of my eyebrows, then used the powder sponge applicator side to fill and enhance my whole eyebrow. The result was full natural looking eyebrows which actually last (I have oily skin and tried many brands of brow pencils, crayons, powders, wands, none which were as good as this as they tended to fade or smudge within a few hours of wear.)
As someone with naturally sparse, thin eyebrows, this Express Brow 2 in 1 pencil is a blessing. I love how it's is super easy and quick to apply, which is great when you're in a rush and don't have much time.
I will be buying this in future instead of my usual brow pencil as it's a clear winner :)

I have greasy skin and it stays put :)

I’m generally not a fan of eyebrow products. They tend to either be too complicated to use or require skills which I don’t have. I found this surprisingly easy and simple to use. The pencil doesn’t release too much product so it’s not messy and makes it easier to do a more subtle look that you can build on top of. And the powder brush allows for blending I would otherwise not be able to do.

Unfortunately this pencil didn’t work well for me, it may be that I’m not used to a slanted pencil so I felt it too thick. The powder really was the worst it felt like there wasn’t much product at all. The best thing about it was the shade.

I’ve used this for a week now and absolutely love it. You can go for a very natural brow with the powder end alone, or go for a thicker fuller brow using the pencil and the powder. I love that it’s 2 in one, I use the powder of a day and both ends for nights. The shade isn’t a red brown either, it’s very ashy and not too warm on me which I love!

This product is worth the money, it had a great consistency but is a bit on the oily side. A brilliant colour to it super pigmented. Filled in my nonexistent blonde eyebrows, made them really well shaped and blended

This express brow pencil is excellent, best one I've tried in a long time and excellent value for money, it definitely gives fuller looking eyebrows and lasts all day, put it on before then went our first a meal after and I didn't need to touch it up looked just as good as 1st thing in the morning. I have very fine eyebrows and light without using a eyebrow pencil you can't really see mine, had loads of comments regarding my eyebrows from customers at work especially because of wearing face mask my eyes and eyebrows are a focal point so lots of positive comments.

I have been using this for a week. And im very impressed with this pencil. Its very soft to apply and fills in evenly in the brows. They look more defined with the shape and prominent with the colour. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge. And easily comes off in the evening when I cleanse my face. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Now, this is what I call express brows! What a fantastic idea to have the brow pencil and the powder in one product. Is so simple to use, even without much of makeup skills. Is long lasting and doesn't transfer throughout the whole day. Gives beautiful full brows effect and yet still looking very natural. I am super happy with this 2 in 1 eyebrow pencil.

I received Express Brow 2 in 1 Pencil + Filling Powder in shade Medium Brown in exchange of my honest review. I've been using it for 5 days now and I really like it . The shade matches my complexion perfectly. The pencil is very easy to use and the powder is great addition helping me to achieve perfect natural look quick and easy. It stays on the whole day and doesn't smudge. I've received so many compliments and already recommended it to so many people. This is a product that I would be buying from now on and would definitely recommend.

This would be handy on days when I am in a hurry and don't have time to do my brows properly but still want them to look done. It doesn't give the precision that some other brow products do but it does fill them in nicely.

Made my brows look fuller and not as messy as normal! Easier to use than a regular eyebrow pencil. However I would buy a shade lighter than you would normally as it came out a lot darker than I was expecting!

I'm so pleased with the ashy tone of the dark brown shade, it suits my brows perfectly. I love how easy to use the product is and the tip of the pencil is so useful for shaping. I'd use this product when I want bolder brows rather than natural and I've found the pigments long lasting. Would definitely recommend for an all in one brow tool.
