THE BASE FOR YOUR PROM MAKEUP

For the foundation Lucy uses the Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation. Lucy love’s this foundation as it’s really matte on the skin and it’s perfect for any pictures, a given at Prom! Lucy has mixed two shades of Fit Me Matt and Poreless foundation shades 120 and 128, to create the perfect base for her skin.

For the Prom eye makeup Lucy uses the beautiful 24 Karat Nude Eyeshadow Palette, which features 12 curated shades.Lucy sweeps the most golden shade of the palette across her eyelid and up to her crease and blends with a blending brush.

Now taking the darkest grey toned eyeshadow, Lucy works these through the crease and the wings it out ever so slightly to open up the eye. Next Lucy takes the golden shade & the copper toned shade to line the underneath of the eye. This really makes your eyes pop!

THE PERFECT WINGED EYELINER! NO PROM MAKEUP IS COMPLETED WITHOUT IT!

Lucy uses the Master Precise Eyeliner in black to create a winged liner. Lucy starts in the centre of the eye and pulls the liner towards the edge of the eye in small strokes to ease precision. Then creates the shape of the wing utilising the full nip of the liner and simply fills the shape in. Beautiful winged eyeliner for your Prom makeup.

To complete the eye makeup Lucy uses the NEW Maybelline Big Shot Mascara for bold volume.

CONCEAL

Lucy uses the Eraser eye concealer, a perfect concealer to reduce the appearance of under eye circles. Lucy applies this under the eye to add brightness and on any areas that need a little extra coverage.

To contour the face, Lucy uses the NEW Bronzer Palette from Maybelline. This is a summer and Prom Makeup essential. It has 3 shades of bronzer and an illuminating highlighter to give you that glow in all the right places.  Lucy uses this highlight on her brow bone and tops of her cheeks. 

Now to complete the look and Lucy uses the amazing colour Sensational Nudes lipstick. Lucy opts for a brown based lip shade called Nude Embrace, a beautiful Nude Matte Lip shade to really add sophistication to the prom makeup look.

PRIME FOR PROM

For any prom makeup look primer is essential. Lydia is using our NEW Superstay 24hr Primer for the perfect makeup base to help your makeup last all night. The primer really helps create an even base for your makeup, it reduces the appearance or pores, helps your foundation sit nicer and just gives you an extra flawless finish.

Lydia uses our dewy finish foundation, Dream Satin Liquid in shades Beige and True Ivory to find her ideal shade for a glowy Summer Prom makeup look. This foundation gives you poreless perfection which is perfect for prom. 

GET YOUR PERFECT EYEBROW

Eyebrows can make such a difference to your face. Lydia spends the most amount of time on her eyebrows to ensure they are perfect. Lydia uses the Brow Precise Micro Pencil, our NEW micro fine pencil which will give you perfectly shaped and sculpted brows.  

Firstly, Lydia uses the spooly brush to brush through the eyebrows to find their natural shape and to see where to apply the product. Then takes the eyebrow pencil and maps out the shape of her eyebrows and fills in the sparse areas of the brows.

Next Lydia uses the brow kit to fill in the eyebrows and give them more dimensions. The Brow Kit has a wax, powder and a brow highlighter and an amazing angle brush which is perfect to get the perfect shape. Firstly you can use the wax to brush up all the hairs, next fill in the brows with the powder to make them look thick and full & finally use the brow highlighter to lift the eyelids and really open up the eyes. 

Lydia uses the Blushed Nudes Palette to create the perfect rose gold pink eyeshadow look for Prom. Lydia uses the two pink shades from the centre of the palette. Taking the light pink, Lydia sweeps this across the eyelid and up to the crease, to create the perfect eye primer for the more pigmented shades. Next Lydia takes the pink glitter shade and applies this just through the crease and along the lower lash line to frame the eyes. 

Next Lydia takes the white glitter eyeshadow to add highlight to the inner corners of the eyes to help brigton and lift the eyes. 
In place of eyeliner Lydia uses the darkest brow eyeshadow shade from the palette and applies this to the lash line to make the eyes look bigger and lashes look fuller. 

LENGTHEN THOSE LASHES

Now it’s time to give Lashes a Big Shot of volume with our NEW Big Shot mascara. Lydia’s top tip is to wiggle the brush at the root of the lashes and then pull it through to the tip for maximum volume & length.

Next it’s time to set the Prom Makeup look in place with our NEW Master Fix Translucent powder. Perfect for setting Prom makeup in place all evening! Simply use a sponge or beauty blender and pat the pressed powder into the skin for a flawless finish.
