BEST lipgloss if you want to impress the huzz!

The colour is SO nice, and it smells like it would taste really good like a cupcake - not that I would eat it LOL! It would be a bit spicy!! My daughter asks me to borrow this ALL the time, its so good I have a SECRET stock hidden from her - how sneaky!! I really recommend it, I would sell my kidney for it.

Worst product ever

I bought this yesterday (£10) as I needed a pink gloss or lipstick for a wedding and liked the colour. Firstly, not that pigmented. Secondly, the heat from the chilli is too strong! And ffs don't accidentally lick your lips or kiss anyone, it burns! Had to take it off. Waste of money

Panic

Omg! I bought 2 today, what a mistake. I couldn’t figure out why my lips were burning and on fire. I then looked at the gloss ( with my readers on) and saw it had the pepper pic. which I didn’t see or would have known what it meant in a lip
Gloss form. The gloss was not sealed so I initially thought it was tampered with and I went into a panic. Please label with large letters, this was a scare I could have avoided. What if a child gets a hold of this?

Truly horrendous

I bought this thinking it would give me a lovely plump pout…what I got was burning lips and the taste of chilli. I don’t know if the mixing machine got the amounts wrong but the one I bought was terrible. It tasted of chilli and burnt my lips and made my asthma wheeze audible! Truly horrendous. Done touch with a barge pole!

Burning sensation

I bought this lipgloss without realising the real effect it can have on lips, I don’t particularly have very sensitive skin or lips but the lipgloss left my lips burning after one coat, my tongue and mouth are left with a really bad taste. Really disappointed as all I wanted was a lipgloss!

I have been looking for a lip gloss to fall in love with for years and I have finally found it. I bought Peach Fever and the colour is just right for me. The plumping effect is just right too and I love the tingle which lets me know it is working.

Horrendous pain

I have used lip plumper gloss before but this gloss gave me the worst pain ever. I had to wipe it off and still had my lips burning for hours. Super disappointing cause I wanted to have it as a staple gloss. Unfortunately it caused more harm than good. One star for the colour.

Hideous pain - no warning !

Bought this from Superdrug. No warnings of the intense immediate burning. Removed after 2 seconds and then burnt my lips and mouth for at least an hour. How is this legal !?

Such a shame as the colour I got (Red Flag) is lovely and really suits my skin tone. However - the burning sensation on my lips was intense and only kept getting worse! Most awful reaction I’ve ever had to make up!

The product lacks of clear information that it BURNS! A tingly sensation or 'heat' is not an accurate description and is seriously misleading. I bought mine today, it is going straight in the bin! What a bad idea to sell this product, I wish I looked up at the rewievs before buying. I actually bought it as 3 for 2 offer believing that it is a nice lip gloss.

Thankfully I tried this the day before my date because my lips, mouth and tongue were on fire. I did not realise there was chilli in this. I usually love Maybelline products but this is by far the worst. How this got past your testers and production team I do not know.

I got the lip plumper, and wow, it really plumps up your lips! I didn't realize it's mixed with chili peppers – you can definitely taste it! It does leave your lips feeling more than tingly for quite a while.

Tingly but not painful! Color is super pretty. The gloss itself is not sticky and is very comfortable to wear. I think it helps a bit to plump but the effect does not last very long.

I purchased Chili Pepper due to the color and was not aware that “… delivers an intense heated sensation “ It felt after a few minutes as if I had rubbed a jalapeño pepper on my lips. Who would seek such a sensation? Discharging immediately into the garbage

I have tried other lip plumpers and never had a reaction as I did with the lifter plump. I developed blisters on my lips and just under my lower lip. My lips look terrible! I also swallowed my saliva and my throat tingled for more than 10 minutes and water didn’t help! I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I do not have sensitive skin so I’m shocked this happened to me.

Innovative but it’s a bad idea

It’s my mistake didn’t realize the chili sign on the product literally mean it contains chili. Once I applied on my lip, the burning sensation was horrible. It leave a bitter taste on your lip. Can’t figure out the reason why make the product this way.

BAD IDEA!

I bought this today and spent £11.00. What a complete waste of time. Unless you like the idea of having burning lips why on earth did anyone think this was a good idea. My lips are on fire. Just had to wash it all off and put cold water on my lips.

This was clearly designed not with women in mind. I bought this and had to throw it away after first application - my lips burned like they were on fire. Why? Being a woman I certainly not wish to endure such a discomfort. Discontinue - it's awful!

Bought this yesterday & it’s awful! Why would you want your lips to tingle like that for ages. It’s such a con. Had to clean it off. Now I have woken up with a big sore on my lip. It needs to come with a warning sign, it’s ingredients cause you to wake up with sore lumpy lips not plump lips.
I usually love maybelline products so really surprised with this. Sort this out maybelline as I can see I’m not the only one that’s experienced this. It needs taken off the shelves!

It is easy to apply. It goes on clear and stays clear. I expected it to go on and look like the color shown in the bottle. It never changed the appearance of my lips. My lips did not plump.

This really isn’t as bad as people are saying. Yes it does burn, but this only lasted about 20-30 mins for me. It has a lovely colour and finish and I can see the plumping effects. Tbh I quite like the tingling sensation, but perhaps my pain tolerance is good.

Lip gloss burns and stings! I thought I must be having an allergic reaction - looked it up on line and it's got chilli in it! Lots of it, I guess. The writing on the security label may have contained a warning but it's way too small to read. I think I'll try returning this as a faulty product!

Can’t believe this is even allowed to be sold! A little bit in the lips caused a terrible burning sensation and my lips, mouth and tongue felt like they were burning. Who would want to wear this?! Customer Services very unhelpful and £11 in the bin.

Im convinced that the people who left the reviews have never tried the regular lift plump available. I tried it out of curiosity but truly curiosity has killed the cat. Allergic reaction & burning your lips

Terrible! This is burning your lips like crazy. I am actually surprised something like is even sold! The burning lasted for hours, even when the product was wiped off, and as a “bonus” at the end of the day I noticed I got allergic reaction from it- small pimples on my lips.
