Lash Sensational Firework Mascara

Oooh, aaaah! Wow! This mascara is gorgeous. A deep black colour. The wand is thicker than other mascaras, initially i thought it was dragging through the lashes but after just 2 applications is was clear to see it was coating each lash in a sumptuously generous layer. The result is a stricking fanned look and lashes look much longer. Product takes a little longer to dry but no clumping observed

This is a great mascara for building volume and providing a very bold lash look. I wouldn't describe it as a 'false lash' look as it doesn't give you those feathery, fluttery lashes but this is perfect for giving that really dark, dramatic volume

The mascara wand is a little gem it really pulls out your lashes and they look extended. The mascara coats evenly leaving my lashes looking longer and stronger . I’ve been asked if I’m wearing false eyelashes which is a great compliment.

Really nice product, a nice grippy tube which makes it easier to open and hold, plus a nice bold colour tube makes it easier to spot over all the mascaras in your make up collection that arein black packaging! To get the 1, slight disappointing part out of the way, for me that was- as much as I do prefer the more rubber style bristles over, a traditional brush type bristle, I did find a little bit too much product comes out onto the bristles. Meaning upon the first stroke a lot of products get straight onto your lashes and smears around your eye, it is a little bit too much just to sort out with a lash brush afterwards. It really doesn’t involve baby wipes or make-up removal pads and have to start again. Now I want to be honest, I’m not sure if that’s because the bristles are shorter and a lot of product just happens to stick, or if I am maybe keeping it in an area it’s possibly slightly too warm. I do find with the rubber bristled mascaras, kept in a warm warm location, that quite a lot of product does come out at once. So I am finding that I’m having to not forget about this and wipe the bristles on the tube many times before application to avoid this smearing. I’m not keeping it near a radiator or on sunlight, but there is a radiator pipe that runs along the bottom of where I store my make up, and there’s somebody with two bone diseases unless it’s the height of summer I do always have my heating on so of course that pipe is often warm, so it is possible that the tube is getting warmed up a little too much. This really isn’t a major factor, but I just thought I’d mention it. It really is just a matter of having to remember to wipe the brush first. The thing I love about this is- I have a small area of lashes that just don’t grow anymore on my right eye after chemo and lashes that have grown incredibly bent (never managed to correct this, even removing the lashes, they come back exactly the same!) I also have a slight issue on my left eye, the same bent lash problem, just slightly less so, but without any lashes missing. This mascara has an amazing ability to separate and hold the lashes in the position I’d like them to be in and stay there, so it is really filling out that lash line. If I don’t wear mascara or I am wearing another brand for example, it does look like I have either have lashes missing, which of course is the problem or I can get it to briefly fill out, but the lashes just bend back to their original position very fast. Either way it really does look horrible and like I’ve got lashes missing or can’t apply mascara very well! Sometimes it makes it look like I’ve caked it on, just to get an effect I’m looking for, which as I say with other brands just does not work anyway and holds for a matter of seconds only. This mascara, I can get everything to separate and hold in position to sort of cover the area where there are not any lashes and it just makes everything look a lot more normal, filled out and makes me feel a lot more confident! You really wouldn’t know that I had lashes missing and I feel like people wouldn’t be staring at my eyes, which is how I feel normally. I would certainly go out and buy this mascara for sure, simply because it resolves a problem that upsets me, it doesn’t matter- beauticians, makeup artists etc, nobody has managed to get my eyelashes look unbent or fill-in! All I would suggest is that either I will try keep it somewhere a little cooler and although maybe obvious, maybe put a warning to not keep above a certain temperature, or the rubber bristles are in need of being a little bit longer, which may carry the product better, so that it doesn’t smear out upon the 1st stroke of application. As I say, it’s not difficult to wipe the brush before applying. It’s just sometimes it’s easy to forget. It’s a lovely rich black colour the black the better for me, but it also would be fantastic to see these in different colours too. I like wearing bold coloured mascaras and with the problem I’ve just explained, it really has spoiled my fun of mascara wearing for a good few years now. I really feel like this mascara has resolved a massive problem and I would love to be able to solve this problem with bold coloured mascara. I want to say thank you i’ll give me the opportunity to try this and by chance find it resolved a big problem for me! I’m sure there aren’t too many people out there with eyelashes that are permanently damaged, who would think they would be permanently damaged?! But there’s probably other people out there that hsve had similar treatments to me, so may also find that this mascara could solve their eyelash problems too!

Long lovely lashes. Really great product that made my lashes look amazing. Only needed 2 coats to look like I was wearing false lashes. Really happy and would definitely buy this product again as my main mascara

A good mascara for providing lift, curl and volume. Wand is quite bendy but easy enough to use. When new it does seem quite wet to begin with but with more use product is better. Instructions do say not to let it dry between coats so it is buildable if quick when applying and don't let it dry as if you do then it becomes harder to apply and can look bit clumpy. Nice dark colour and lasts well.

I have the most awkward lashes, but as usual maybelline is the only brand that I can use to look half decent, I did find this to be a little clumpy but I think that’s due to my lashes having a mind of their own!! But still this is miles better than any other mascara I have tried in the past

Great mascara whoch covers well and provides great length and thickness. This was lovely to wear and i look forward to using it again and again. I was gifted this and it was a great product and i will buy when it runs out

I'm in love with this mascara, it makes my lashes look really long without looking clumpy or weighing them down. The mascara is very easy to apply and I absolutely luurrve the packaging. A good all round mascara!!!

Happy with this, does the job and my lashes look good. Main point is it doesn't leave black speks on my face which is always so annoying! Would recommend to a friend or to family and would consider purchasing again.

Liked this mascara, Colour is as expected. Easy and simple to use. Goes on well and lasts all day and night. No transfer under the eye for me. Need a good eye makeup remover to get off though. Good product

It's a nice mascara, keeps in place all day and gives you volume. Maybe because it's new it feels wet so needs getting used to for me. I feel like the wand isn't stiff enough for me, it's quite bendy.

I'm a more mature lady and my lashes aren't great .. but using this new mascara has made my lashes much longer and I just LOVE IT

The brush is amazing at making sure each lash is evenly coated. It gives the lashes a salon like lift / curl at home with lots of volume. I love how bold and black it makes my lashes. It’s easy to remove and doesn’t flake throughout the day. I would highly recommend.

I took it with me on holiday to Mexico, it did hold my short lashes in a curl, resisted the heat and humidity by the sea and didn’t smudge. The formula is wet and thin, it doesn’t allow me to do a lot of coats after it dries but I’d rather have fanned-out lashes to clumpy ones, so it doesn’t bother me at all.

I have mixed feelings about this mascara, it has a really great brush which makes your lashes really long and the mascara doesn’t budge all day but it’s really difficult to take off at the end of the day with Micellar water.

Great mascara. Very easy to apply with the brush, colour is good, goes on great, gives great coverage and makes your lashes look a lot thicker, a lot longer and a lot fuller. Apply it once in the morning and it lasts all day.

This is a really lovey mascara. It is easy to apply, the mascara does not clump at all and gives you a nice full lashes look. Will definitely buy in the future and will be a staple in my make up bag

Love this mascara not clunky at all and the application wand doesn’t clog up. Just one stroke can make my eyes look wide awake. I have not had any “ you look tired” comments since wearing this. Will definitely be stocking up on this!

I've been using this mascara for a week and am getting so many compliments. I've been telling anyone that will listen to go buy this one! You can build up the mascara to maximum effect without clumping and the applicator is great. I feel like my eyes really 'pop' with this mascara and will definitely be stocking up!

I love this mascara it separates my lashes as well as lengthens them but what I love the most is that how well it is waterproof. It doesn’t flake through out the day and no residue under my eyes if I have worn in the heat.

I got this mascara and didn’t expect it to be as good as it is! When I applied it my lashes they looked so much longer which I have never had with other mascaras that claimed they could lengthen! This is a definite must in my makeup bag now, won’t go anywhere without it!! Would definitely recommend!

First off, the packaging is amazing. I LOVE the hot pink colour and sleek design. The application brush is really great, flexible with lots of bristles to help into the corners of the eyes. Really nice coverage and instant results!

I'm in kove with the new LASH SENSATIONAL FIREWORK WATERPROOF mascara. The packaging is bright and so much fun. The wand is the perfect shape for me ,making aplication easy and mess free. I usually wear waterproof mascara in the summer months and this one is fantastic. There is no smudge at all ! It lasts the whole day and doesn't look dry or flakey . It's easy to remove with oil based make-up remover.

New and innovative spiral brush separates lashes and helps them appear thicker and lengthened as it reaches each individual lash. Very long lasting mascara too - needs a good make up remover to take it off.

Lovely mascara! It really makes my eyes pop!!! It is super easy to use, gives me good volume and length. It is a bit trickier to use on the bottom lashes. I hope there’s a brown version as it is a little too harsh on me with my fair features.

I'm so fussy with mascara as I want length and separation as well as volume. This achieves everything I wanted and more so much so I've worn it without my signature eyeliner because the lashes make my look feel so complete.

Very good mascara which I can recommend. Clumps hairs together a little bit but overall not too bad and it does make your lashes quite long so was pleased about that. It’s not waterproof but does stay on for days if you forget to take it off before the bed. Quite hard to take it off so definitely need strong remover.

I absolutely loved this mascara! Easy to apply and made my lashes really lovely and stand out. Lasted long too. It really made my eyes look amazing. This was also noticed by my friends and family too.

Yet again a wonderful product from Maybelline. The product was perfect for both myself & my daughter. Ive brought several more to go in presents for friends as its so good. Fits nicely in toy handbag too. The research & development team deserve a raise
