Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a highlighter I bought this after seeing Americans rave about it on Youtube but this looks nothing like the product they have. Its very dull, not metallic at all. Its also very powdery and chalky, disappointed in maybelline!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nothing like I expected. I watch a lot of youtube videos so in 2017 i saw the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter craze all over it feed. It looked amazing and so many YouTubers included it in their best of 2017 beauty products so when I saw that they had a colour in the UK Superdrug stores I was buzzing. The sample/tester that was in store was broken, so I assumed when we swatched it that the pay off wasn't as good as I expected because it had been left open. Me and my sister picked 1 up each as it's bronze and it's the perfect colour for our darker complexions. Swatched using your fingers it does show up but it's nothing compared to the "Molten Gold" shade Americans have. Even the "Rose Gold" shade in America seems blinding. If your after something natural than I'd say its good. But if I'm struggling so much to get it to show up on my skin, using fingers, beauty blender, highlight brush and a fan brush and I'm having to layer and layer for it to be a little noticeable I don't think it's worth it at all. I'm quite disappointed as it's nothing like I expected so this formula is completely different. Please if anyone has used it and has found a way to make this work or whether it's just ours please comment.
