Luscious!
I was originally using the Pink Maybelline Lash Sensational, but this one truly is luscious black. The volume is really nice, I wear quite heavy eye makeup so it looks really good!

Don’t waste your money
Bought this in an effort to save a bit of money on my usual mascara but I’m now having to go and buy that one anyway. The brush on this is terribly designed, instantly clumps lashes with a heavy coating of mascara - used this once and will not be using again.

Doesn't dry

Wet, clumpy and smudges everywhere
Terrible mascara. The formula is thick and wet. The design of the brush means you can’t wipe any excess off. Clumps lashes together no matter how carefully you apply. By the time I had arrived at work (within an hour) it had transferred to my brow bones and under eyes, giving me the worst raccoon-look I had ever seen, which explained the strange looks I had been getting. I have persevered and tried this on a few other occasions since, with extra setting powder around the eyes before applying the mascara, but the same thing happens. Will never be buying an oil-based mascara again.

Save your money!
This is by far the worst mascara I’ve ever used! It’s clumpy, 1 hour after application it gets smudged around my eyes(I don’t even apply on my lower lash). On top of that it is IMPOSSIBLE to take off completely. I use Elemis cleansing balm first which usually melts away all make up but not this mascara! Then I apply a second layer of the balm and i still can’t take it off. Finally I sweep a cotton pad with micellar water to take the remaining product off my eyes... but there’s still some left! Ain’t nobody got time (and energy) for that! Plus it’s not worth wasting my cleansers and balms and what not for a drugstore mascara. Going back to L’Oréal Telescopic which is what I should’ve stuck with... Save your coin!

Not great
It advertises as ‘fanning out your lashes’ I found it just clumped them all together and I was left with about 5 extra thick ‘eyelashes’ on each eye. Might be because I do have already full lashes so might be better for people who’s are a lot more sparse. I do however use it on top of my old mascara and it works perfectly to lengthen and darken even more

Good for Stubborn Lashes
I've been buying this mascara for over a year now and I'm so happy with it. I have very stubborn lashes and I've never been able to find a mascara that gives my lashes curl and volume like this one does. When it dries, it doesn't flake or feel crispy or irritate the eyes after long wear (in my experience). When removed, you can feel the impact of the oils it has in it making my lashes feel smooth and enriched.

Far too thick
I applied one layer of this mascara and it was so thick it made my lashes all stick together and then went really hard. It was difficult to remove afterwards.

Awful mascara
I was hoping because it was an oil blend, it would give my eyelashes some tlc.
My eyelashes are long but thin, this mascara does very little for them. The mascara is very wet, the wand (which was one of the reasons I bought this mascara) does not help application and my eyelashes end up all wet together.
Because of the type of mascara, it is pointless me applying any to my bottom lashes, as the product transfers to my skin, making me look like I have big bags under my eyes.
I can’t wait to remove this product. Very disappointed.

A clumpy mess
I bought this mascara a couple of weeks ago , sad to say it's the worst mascara I've used clumpy , too wet and just a complete mess. Impossible to get off too it took me a whole day to remove this mascara completely

Disappointing
I bought this in hope it would be my new go to mascara,however I’m left very disappointed.
The formula is to ‘wet’ and the wand inadequate.
I’ve long lashes anyway fortunately but this clumps them beyond belief and removing some product of the actual application brush is rather hard due to its shape and lack of bristles.
Wouldn’t purchase again,and I’ve only used it twice.

This has got to be the worst mascara wand I have ever used. It loads way too much mascara onto your lashes so your lashes look like a clumpy mess and it's really hard to wipe the excess off the brush before you apply it because of the shape of the brush. I will go back to the pink tube of Lash Sational, it's way better.

Worst mascara I have ever used!
I heard this had good reviews, but it is so bad for my lashes!
The brush piles on product and leaves it looking like I have theee eye lashes.
It completely clumps up, is so hard to remove, and when I’ve used my eye make up remover it pulls my lashes out! I swear I lost 4 lashes last night.... I’m gonna end up win none.
I hardly ever write negative reviews but after 2 weeks of battling this mascara it’s going in the bin!

There has been so much hype about this [thanks Megan Markle!] so I was quick to purchase but goodness so disappointing! The wand is really cumbersome to use and the mascara just flakes off leaving me with black flakes on my skin under my eyes.

I've read some of the1 star reviews, which i do not agree with, for me this mascara works great! It gives better volume than the lash sensational mascara in the rose gold bottle, while still giving great length. It is my go to mascara that i always end up repurchasing and going back to after trying new ones.

Disappointing
I only got this mascara because it was offered to me at the cash desk, and I need mascara. I absolutely regret it! The wand is so awful, it makes your eyelashes stick together. The product itself is quite wet so the application tends to be messy. I wish I stuck to my original mascara choice, I'm super disappointed.

Distributes way too much product and it’s hard to scrape the excess off due to the design of the applicator. It made my lashes all stick together in a clumpy mess and was SO HARD to fix. Hopefully it gets better when it starts drying out but I’d definitely just stick to buying the original lash sensational

Clumpy. Smudges and impossible to remove!!!
This mascara is absolutely awful. A second coat makes the lashes clump together and it's impossible to comb through. It smudges throughout the day and stains the lower lash line. It also leaves dots on the eyelids. It's impossible to remove even with waterproof eye make up remover and leaves lumps of product at the lash line. I did not buy the waterproof version!!
The original lash sensational mascara is brilliant but the new one should be avoided.

So good
The original lash sensational is my favourite, i decided to try this one and i do like it, but i feel like the original one is better. This glides on smoothly but it sticks some of my lashes together. Amazing mascara for length. Also, takes longer to dry (maybe because of the oils?)
